About Shepherd Lodge

Our prospectus aims to summarize the first class facilities on offer and the high standards of care we constantly strive to maintain within the setting.

Shepherd Lodge was established in 1991 and in March 2001 was taken over by new owners Simon and Helen Turpie who also own Clifton Lodge in Lytham St. Annes and Bluebell Lodge and Butterfly in Blackpool and we are now part of the Learning Curve Nursery Group. Between them they have a considerable knowledge of early years.

The nursery is situated in a Victorian detached house in a residential area of St Annes, set in it’s own secure grounds.

There is a newly refurnished outdoor area and designated, newly refurbished and resourced, indoor rooms, carefully planned and well equipped to maximize the children’s enjoyment of the play and learning environment.

Shepherd Lodge has been awarded ‘I Can’ accreditation and Lancashire County Council’s Steps to Quality scheme.

You are most welcome to visit us to view the facilities the nursery as to offer, to meet the children and the staff .

We pride ourselves in training and retaining our staff and have EYPs on the staff team. We can personally explain our policies and procedures, discuss the daily routine and demonstrate how we can do our very best to meet your individual requirements for your child.

To arrange a visit at a convenient time to yourself and the nursery and/or for any further information please telephone 01253 729009, where a warm and friendly welcome awaits you.

Yours sincerely,

Rebecca – Nursery Manager
