Meals & Snacks

We provide nutritious and healthy meals and snacks to include lots of fruit and vegetables. Drinks available include milk or water.

Menu Example

We have 4 different menus that rotate on a 4 weekly basis. The example below is taken from week 1.


Monday

Morning snack: Cereals or fruit. Milk/Water.
Lunch: Feta, spinach and tomato salad. Spaghetti bolognese with mince beef and homemade tomato sauce. Water.
Afternoon Snack: Chicken sandwiches, pepper and carrot sticks, and chilli mayonnaise dip. Banana. Milk/Water.


Tuesday

Morning snack: Toast or fruit. Milk/Water.
Lunch: Garlic bread. Homemade mild chicken curry and rice. Water.
Afternoon Snack: Crumpets with baked beans and cheese. Homemade flapjack. Milk/Water.


Wednesday

Morning snack: Cereals or toast. Milk/Water.
Lunch: Carrot and cucumber sticks with cheese and chive dips. Tuna pasta bake with sweetcorn, peppers and homemade tomato sauce. Water.
Afternoon Snack: Homemade broccoli and cauliflower soup with bread roll. Jelly. Milk/Water.


Thursday

Morning snack: Crumpets or fruit. Milk/Water.
Lunch: Cheese, ham and pastry sticks. Homemade sausage and bean pie, topped with mashed potato. Water.
Afternoon Snack: Ploughman’s crackers, cheese, ham, cherry tomatoes and pepper. Icecream. Milk/Water.


Friday

Morning snack: Cereals or fruit. Milk/Water.
Lunch: Egg mayonaise vol-au-vents. Roast chicken served with roast potatoes and seasonal vegatables. Water.
Afternoon Snack: Tuna and sweetcorn pasta. Greek yoghurt and honey. Milk/Water.
