You will need:
- One cup of lard at room temperature
- Two cups of wild bird seed
- Cookie cutters
- Cut the soft lard into pieces and put in a bowl with the bird seed.
- Mix everything together.
- Place cookie cutters on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper, press mixture firmly & poke a hole in each one.
- Place in fridge to set. Once set, remove from cutters, thread ribbon through and hang outdoors.
