Lisa – Area Manager – M.A. Hons Early Years Education & Leadership, B.A Hons Early Childhood Studies, EYT
Lisa began working with the Learning Curve Nursery Group as a student at Shepherd Lodge Nursery. She worked her way up, and became Manager of Shepherd Lodge in May 2000. In January 2005 Lisa helped to set up Clifton Lodge Nursery, and took up the role of Manager there. In 2008 Lisa took up a new role of Area Manager. As Area Manager of all four Learning Curve nurseries, Lisa ensures that high standards of care are maintained in a loving and friendly environment.
Laura – Curriculum manager – B.A Honours in Early Childcare and Education, EYT. Currently working towards Masters
Laura began working at Shepherd Lodge in February 2005 as an early years practitioner after completing her cache diploma in childcare and education. Whilst leading the Pre School room, she then went on to complete a BA honours degree in early childcare and Education and gained her Early Years Professional status. Laura’s current role at the nursery is leading and supporting the education and teaching throughout all four sites.
Hannah – Nursery Manager – Level 3 children’s learning and development working towards Foundation degree in early childhood studies
Hannah started working at our sister nursery Clifton lodge in 2011 as an early year’s educator. She was then promoted to Lower pre-school co-ordinator at our sister Nursery Bluebell lodge later becoming Deputy manager and Pre-school Co-ordinator. In May 2017 Hannah became nursery manager of Butterfly lodge nursery. Hannah has a great passion for early years. Hannah is now attending university where she is studying early years childhood, to expand her knowledge further.
Anya has 24 year experience in childcare and education, and has worked with children from 0 to 11 years. Anya has worked at this site for 13 years, and has worked throughout all age groups. Anya is Level 5 qualified, and holds a Foundation Degree in Professional Practice in the Early Years. Anya really enjoys watching children grow and thrive, and knowing that she has a positive impact on their development.
Shaneen – Third In Charge & Baby Room Coordinator
Shaneen started working at Butterfly Lodge August 2017. Shaneen has worked in Early Years settings prior to Butterfly Lodge and has great experience with all ages. Shaneen has worked in early years for 5 years. Shaneen has her level 5 leadership and management and wanting to continuously expand her knowledge, she is now aiming for her foundation degree in early childhood studies.
Gillian has had over 30 years of experience working with children. Gillian has worked at this site since May 2018, and has previously worked as a childminder and nanny. Gillian holds a Level 3 NNEB. Gillian is currently studying for her Level 1 in British Sign Language.
Hollie has worked at this site for four and a half years. Hollie gained a Level 2 NVQ qualification in Childcare in 2015, and is currently studying for her Level 3. Hollie enjoys working with children, and helping them to learn and develop new skills.
Nicky has worked at this setting since January 2018. In October 2017 Nicky gained a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare. Nicky enjoys writing, and has written a published children’s book. She hope to write more in the future.
Jean holds a Level 2 Qualification in Food Safety – Early years. Jean has had 29 years of experience, and has previously worked at Kirkham Grammar School and Newton Bluecoat Primary School. Jean has two sons and 3 Grandsons. Jean enjoys spending time with the children, leading baking activities, and watching them grow and learn.
Stacey has many years of experience and is level 3 qualified. She has worked with all age ranges. Stacey had worked at this site since November 2018. Stacey strives to ensure the best start for all the children and enjoys to help them develop through outstanding activities.
Leanne has great experience in early years. She currently holds a level 3 qualification. Leanne has worked at Lytham lodge since November 2018. Leanne thoroughly enjoys supporting the children in their learning, thriving to ensure the best outcomes for them possible.
