Kindness Elves

The time has come, for the kindness elves to say goodbye. We’ve had so much fun, but please don’t be sad. Next time we see you, you’ll be a little bit taller. We suppose that means we will look even smaller! Remember this year, while we are apart to be kind and friendly, ensure kindness is spread to all. We can’t wait to come back again next year to spread kindness and Christ-mas cheer.

Nursery Developments

Nursery developments are coming on fast. 2-5’s cloakroom area is under construction which is coming on fast. Our Baby room is coming on so quickly and our image we had is truly coming to life. The corridor leading to the our new baby and toddler room is ready for its finishes touches to. We will keep you up to date with all our new developments as the nursery grows.

Tapestry is coming together and we are so excited to be adding lots more things for you to see. You will see different observation styles of the children. These are as follows Newsflash – This is a weekly entry like a diary entry about an activity your child enjoyed taking part in during their nursery week. WOW moment – These moments will maybe added when your child has achieved for the first time or mastered something. I.e. separating from their main carer for the first time without any tears. Narrative observation – These will be in the form of a detailed observation that may follow an adult led activity. These may appear in your child’s tapestry every 4 – 6 weeks.

This month we are collecting recycled resources to help develop heuristic play within our 0-2’s room. We are looking for – Pine cones, corks and kitchen role tubes.
