Shepherd Lodge Newsletter April 2018

Easter Fair

A big thank you to everyone who came along to our Easter Fair. We had a fantastic day, seeing all the children take part in our Easter Bunny Trail. All the Easter Bonnets made for our parade looked fantastic such a great effort made by all!

Parents Evening

We would just like to thank all the parents for making our parents evening another huge success. We enjoyed sharing your child’s learning journey with you and for you to see all the interesting things they get up to at nursery.

Easter/Spring Topic

To coincide with our topic of spring, the children will be watching our very own chicken eggs hatch in our nursery incubator. This opportunity will offer the children and parents an opportunity to interact, care for and learn about chickens and their life cycle, from incubation, hatching and finally growth.

Graduation Photography

Red Frog Photography will be taking the graduation photos on Tuesday 1st May – this will start at 1.30 pm. Pre School Leavers who do not attend on a Tuesday are welcome to come in at 1.30 for their photograph taken.

Wind Chime Competition

Now that Spring is upon us we are inviting parents to create their own wind chime to hang around the nursery. We encourage you to be as creative as possible and use as many resources as you can. All entries will receive a prize and certificate. Please can all entries for the competition be in no later than Monday 18th May.

GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation

is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy, this will replace the data protection act and comes into force May 25th 2018.
