This month many children will be transitioning between rooms, we aim to make this transition as smooth as possible. Please ensure that all your child’s documents are filled out and handed back to their key worker. If you have any questions or would like to discuss your child’s transition, please do not hesitate to contact Natalie in the office.
All About Me
Within the Pre-school we will be hosting our very own Chatterbox Challenge, we would like to encourage all children and parents to put together a little box which includes your child`s interests. The box could include photographs, favourite toys, books and favourite places to visit etc. The purpose of this activity is to encourage speech and language and allow your child to develop in confidence talking about themselves to their peers, allowing them to feel a great deal of pride. Please could all boxes be brought in Wc 10th September.
Stay and Play Sessions
At Clifton Lodge we will be once again hosting our free stay and play sessions. These sessions are aimed at children aged 6 months to 4 years. These sessions allow parents to have an insight into nursery life, have a look around the nursery and meet the staff team. Spaces must be booked in advanced, for further details please see Natalie. The dates are as follows:
September 3rd – 6 months-2 years
September 10th – 2 years-4 years
September 17th – 6 months-2 years 10.00am – 11.00am
This year our harvest festival is at St Thomas church. Wednesday 12th September. 2:15-3pm please arrive 15 minutes before to ensure you get seated. If your child doesn’t attend nursery that day, then please meet us at the church at 2:00pm. Children can dress up as farmers or a harvest fruit or vegetable.
We hope to see you all there.
We would like to ask all children to bring in non-perishable foods for our harvest donation to St Thomas church, we will start collecting from Wc 3rd September. Thank you once again for your continues support.
