Bike Ability

This term we have started our bike ability course with AFC Fylde, this session is free of charge and every child within the Pre-school and Lower Pre-school will have the option to take part we will be running the sessions in a 4 week block. The children will learn new skills and learn the importance of road safety.

Music Man

Unfortunately we have had to say good bye to Simon the music man as of this term, after careful consideration we have decided that we would like to carry on with our Forest School session with our qualified teacher. Again, every child within the Pre-school and Lower Pre-school will have the opportunity to attend on a Friday. The Forest schools is an enriching experience and is able to give the children many life skills. The staff team will continue to promote music and rhyme time through a range of activities the local library is also opening this month the children will also be attending music sessions there. Next term we will have music and dance lessons with AFC Fylde. For more information please see Natalie in the office.

Painting From A Different Perspective

Painting from a different perspective…
Reggio Emelia: “One of the most interesting elements within the Reggio Approach is the central importance given to the expressive arts as a vehicle for learning”. Reggio Emelia suggests that children learn through art and being able to express themselves, being creative and being able to see things from a different perspective.

Home Learning

Rocking all over the world…
We would like the children to decorate a pebble at home, you will find some at the front of nursery. Hide it somewhere outdoors and tag us on Facebook. You can hide your pebble anywhere, on the beach, in the woods even take it somewhere further afield. Let’s see how far our pebbles can travel.
