Little Princess Trust

Two of our staff members Amy and Natasha both decided to both donate 12 inches each of their hair to the Little Princess Trust; The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults up to the age of 24 that have sadly lost their own hair due to cancer treatment and other illnesses.

In doing this amazing act they have managed to raise over £700.00, Both Natasha and Amy are extremely grateful for all the support and donations they have received, also a very special Thank you to Jo at Athena Hair for all her kind support through this process. Pre-School Leavers & Graduation Date

Sadly, it is that time of year again where our preschool children are leaving to begin their new journey to “big school”. Please could parents assist the smooth transition of their children leaving us by informing us of your child’s last day with us. This is to ensure the preschool team can make sure they have everything prepared for you. Our official graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday 14th July at our Summer Fair at AKS, Clifton Drive South, St Anne’s.

Bluebell Lodge’s Royal Wedding Party

We are super excited for the Royal Marriage of Prince Harry to Megan Markle on Saturday 19th May. To celebrate this amazing day we are going to be holding a princes and princesses garden party on Friday 18th May. Children attending this day are invited to wear their finest prince and princess attire for the day! We shall be hosting events through out the day and enjoying a Royal afternoon tea.

Forest School

Outdoor learning plays a key part in our development throughout the early years and beyond, we are very lucky to have a close link with Highfield Road Park, this has enabled us to further link with practitioners from Lytham Park View 4U, whom we are meeting up with on a weekly basis at Highfield Park.

Every Thursday morning we will be taking part in a Forest School session, which are lead by the fully qualified Julie Norman of Park View 4U.

Last Thursday the children had their first session which they enjoyed immensely. Forest School sessions give children the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities, which helps to develop their confidence. As they become familiar with Forest School activities they can take their new-found confidence into nursery and into other areas of their lives. It will also support children to learn how to solve problems and be creative and imaginatve.
