Learning Curve Nursery Group

It has been so lovely to meet you all and begin this exciting journey with you. Here at Learning Curve Nursery Group we believe that helping a child to be confident, happy, healthy and inquisitive is a key to their future success in making that transition into school life and beyond. Hannah is Lytham Lodge’s Manager, she currently works Tuesday to Friday as is studying her Early Childhood Studies degree.

Thank you for all who have filled in your new children’s details forms. Within the forms was a People Who Can Collect Me form, please ensure that this form is completed and that photos have been provided of all people with permission to collect your child. Our First Outing In The Community

We are so excited to begin exploring our community. We have been over to Park View where we explored the surroundings. On our adventure we found a witch’s broom, a red hair bow and a magic wand too. We had such a fun time and we can’t wait for our next adventures.

As of January 2019 we will be no longer opening at 7:30am and will be opening from 8:00am. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope your work places are sympathetic to this change of hours.

Nursery Developments

We are so excited to see the nursery developing in so many positive ways. As many of you may have noticed we are currently developing what was previously the pre-school. This is going to be turned into two separate rooms one will be a Baby Room and the other a Toddler Room. Very soon there will be some nursery plans for you to be able to see our aims. We thank you for all your patience during the nursery development and we can’t for you to see the plans come to life.

Lytham Scarecrow Festival

We are so excited to be taking part in the Lytham Scarecrow Festival. We will be creating our own unique scarecrow display outside nursery. This is a family fundraising event, in aid of the Manacare charity based in Sri Lanka. Lytham residents Matthew & Charmila Sugden and children, will be giving up their jobs and heading out to Sri Lanka in January, to spend 8 months carrying out unpaid voluntary work. All proceeds from the Scarecrow Festival will be going directly towards the voluntary projects they will be undertaking during that time. We invite you to contribute to our entry by designing and making a Scarecrow Spoon to be included in our display. Wooden spoons can be found in the nursery entrance hall, and can be taken in return for a donation towards the Manacare Charity. Please bring in your Scarecrow Spoon by Thursday 15th November. We look forward to seeing your designs.
