Lytham Lodge Newsletter March 2019

Nursery Developments

Another update on our nursery developments is that they are going so fast and coming on amazingly. This Month we have opened the lower pre-school room which has been refurbished with a back door that provides direct access to their garden. Also there is brand new nappy change and toilets too. We currently have a team working extremely hard to complete our toddler room. We are so excited that we get to share these developments with you all.

Baby Room

We were so excited to launch our brand new baby room to everyone. We have been so overwhelmed with all the lovely comments we have received about the new room and its beautiful features. The room is so loved by all the children and is being made great use of with lots of fun activities. The next steps on our new baby room is to have make developments on what is going to be the babies and toddlers outdoor area. With the weather getting warmer we can’t wait to watch this develop.

World Book Day

On 7th March Lytham Lodge will be partaking in world book day and dressing up as our favourite story character. At nursery the children thoroughly enjoy a wide range of stories. So on world book day we invite the children to dress up as their favourite story character and bring their favourite book along with them to, so we can share them with each other.

Parents Evening

This terms parents evening will be held on 14th march 6pm-7:30pm. To come to parents evening then please see Hannah in the office to book an appointment. Our parents evening provides time to discuss your child’s progress and all the fantastic things they are getting up to at nursery.

Collections

This month we are collecting loose parts to enhance our outdoor kitchen. We are wanting a range of loose parts such a corks, pinecones, acorns, conkers, pebbles and shells. By having these items in our garden kitchen will support the children in using their imagination and expanding their communication and language. If you have any of these items then please bring them to nursery to help us develop the area.
