Sling Training

Children feel safe and loved in their parents arms, and a crying baby is often comforted as soon as a familiar adult picks them up. It’s also wonderful for the parent to enjoy closeness with their baby. Carrying your baby in a baby carrier has many benefits. We can’t wait to engage in our sling training next week, to enhance our baby provision.

Chickens

We were so excited we could share the special moment of our chickens hatching with the children. Lytham Lodge are very happy to have two fantastic chickens named hulk and betty. The children are thoroughly enjoying this amazing experience.

Sun Safety

As the weather is getting warmer, we would like to remind everyone about sunhats and sun-cream. We would like to be able to enjoy our outdoor area as much as possible, so please could you provide your child with a sun-hat, with their name on the label inside. Could you al-so provide sun-cream for your child and let us know if your child is allergic to any sun cream? Please can sun cream be applied before they come into nursery. We will ensure that the chil-dren are covered and fully protected from the sun and ensure they stay well hydrated.

Collections

We are currently collecting tubes, shells, pebbles, logs, bronze teapots and spoons.
