Forest Schools

Outdoor learning plays a key part in our development. Every Thursday morning, we have been taking part in forest school sessions. The children have been enjoying forest schools immensely. Forest School sessions give children the opportunity to engage in outdoor activities that helps to develop their confidence. As they become familiar with Forest School activities they can take their new-found confidence into nursery and into other areas of their lives. It will also support children to learn how to solve problems and be creative and imaginative.

Royal Wedding

We had so much fun celebrating the wedding of Harry and Meghan. The children have enjoyed engaging in a range of activities, such as creating our own play dough wedding cakes, designing wed-ding dresses and creating our own congratulations card. To complete the celebrations, we had a spectacular tea party with our friends and dressed up as prince and princesses oh what fun we’ve had.

Healthy Early Years Status

We are so happy to announce that we have been awarded our Healthy Early Years Status. We work so hard to ensure that children get a healthy balanced diet and physical exercise. We are always developing to ensure we give our children the best start in life.

As the weather has been so glorious lately, it is important to be sun safe. Please ensure you put sun cream on your child before they are dropped off to nursery. If you have forgotten do not worry we have set up a sun station out at nursery that you are welcome to use. We also have a hydration station to ensure children stay hydrated.
