Butterfly Lodge Newsletter March 2019

Staff Changes

We have a few staff changes this month, we are happy to welcome back Paige, who will be working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in our baby room. We are also sad that Charlotte will be leaving us to join Bluebell and work in their Pre-school room.

Growing Areas

We have some exciting plans to create a bluebell and butterfly growing area at Highfield road community centre, a great opportunity to work with the community.

Forest Schools

Forest schools has been a great hit with both the children and their parents and will continue term time only. Children have been learning about insects, animals, plants and trees in fun and exciting adventures.

World Book Day

World Book Day is on the Thursday 7th March. All the children are invited to come dressed as their favourite story character on the Thursday 7th to celebrate the magical world of storytelling. Throughout this week all our activities are based around different stories and book themes. We would love to hear all about the stories you read at home too.
