We would like to welcome all the new parents and children to Butterfly Lodge Nursery. We hope you will settle in very soon and become part of our nursery family. We are currently having the Nursery painted and would appreciate your patience at this time, children’s work and photographs will be displayed as soon as our new boards go up on our walls which shouldn’t take long!
Shauna is now working alongside Carl in the Pre-school room as co-ordinator, Early Years Teacher (EYT) and of course Deputy Manager. Shauna has lots of experience within every room at Butterfly and has plenty of exciting ideas for our pre-school room.
Amanda is our new Baby room co-ordinator and she will be working 4 days a week and working alongside Paige. Amanda has been a Baby room co-ordinator at Bluebell Lodge and has worked within Butterfly Lodge for the last 2 years. She is looking forward to take a leading role once more!
Pre-school Harvest Service
Our pre-school children will be taking part in our Harvest service on Monday 7th October at 2.30pm (If your child does not normally attend nursery on this day please meet at the church for 2pm). The service will begin at 2.30pm and will last around 20 minutes. We ask parents to be getting to the church no later than 2pm to allow the pre-school team time to get the children ready and in position for the service to start. We are asking all parents to bring their children in farmer style outfits e.g. shirt, wellies, straw hat for the service.
As part of our harvest celebration we will be collecting different foods to take to church with us on the 7th October. There will be a collection point in each room as each room will be celebrating the harvest festival. We will be collecting foods such as tinned food, packets and sauces. Unfortunately, we cannot take fresh foods to the church. Any donations will be appreciated.
We are inviting parents and children to take part in our scarecrow competition. All children’s scarecrows will be displayed down the driveway. All entries will receive a prize and certificate. Please can all entries for the competition be in no later than Wednesday 25th September.
Please can all parents ensure that all your child’s belongings are labelled, this is to include cups, bottles, dummies, comfort toys, shoes and clothes. A good website to have a look at is www.easy2name.com they sell waterproof stick on labels and iron on tapes that stay on. Please mention nursery when you order as they give a small amount for fundraising. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
It is important that you keep us informed of any changes to your child’s details, i.e. address, etc. Please can all parents ensure that all your child’s details are up to date. If you require any new forms, please collect them from Anne in the office. If you haven’t been able to attach photos to the ‘People who are allowed to collect me form’ you can email your photos to nursery our email address is email@example.com
Remember, nursery fees increased in September. Please can you assist the admin team by ensuring that you have changed your standing orders for your child’s nursery fees. If you have misplaced your fees letter, please see Becca or Ben in the office for your new fee amount or contact Anita on 346741.
