Bluebell Lodge Newsletter March 2019

Emily

We are sorry to announce the departure of Emily from the Learning Curve Nursery Group. Emily has worked with us for a number of years, and across a number of our nurseries. I am sure that you will agree that in the short period of time that she has been here at Bluebell Lodge she has made a positive impact on the nursery and the children within it. Emily is relocating away from Blackpool and we wish her lots of success in the future.

Our Nursery Garden

You may have noticed some changes in our nursery garden over the last few weeks. We now have a new planter in which the Pre School Children will be planting some vegetables and helping them grow. We welcome the addition of “Bluebell Hill” which when finished will add colour, movement and sound to the garden, all of which can be used as a teaching tool with the children. The children have also enjoyed playing on the new rope swing. We have our fingers crossed for another warm and sunny summer so that all the new additions can be used and enjoyed to their full potential.

Forest Schools

We are pleased to announce the children once again will be celebrating the outdoors with a weekly session of forest schools. Children will learn about insects, animals, plants and trees in fun and exciting adventures.

World Book Day

World Book Day is on the Thursday 7th March. All the children are invited to come dressed as their favourite story character on the Thursday 7th to celebrate the magical world of storytelling. Throughout the week all our activities will be based around different stories and book themes. We would love to hear all about the stories you read at home too.
